Respiratory minute volume keyed semi closed rebreather, also called passive scr or quasi constant ppo2 scr. Gas replenishment is mechanically triggered by the diver´s metabolic consumption rate. Every breath fresh gas is injected by a valve keyed mechanically to diver´s breathing rate and some old gas expelled from the loop.
The result of this design is an minimum oxygen variation in the loop, there is no wide fluctuation in FiO2 like an aktive scr.
MOD is based on supply gas.
The system design are mechanically more complex than mass flow controlled systems.
